MMA grew enormously in recognition during the last ten years. Because of this recognition the art has developed and witnessed a development of an unique set of rules, safety precautions and more professional officiating. Years ago there were minimal regulations, no equipment for safety and no specific training as fighters arrived from alternative MA styles to find out which was the most capable martial art around.

Training Equipment

Having chosen your training ground there are a few must have MMA equipment that you need to buy in order to train safely. These equipments consist of what I like to call the start up kit. Anyone wanting to start practicing MMA must have a groinguard, a gum-shield, training gloves(no need to go pro just yet) and some proper MMA shorts.

Safety always comes first so choose wisely your MMA Equipment and don't forget your sports nutrition supplements, they are vital for you.
